Educational programs
Graduate engineering studies, the "Diplôme d'ingénieur" curriculum
INPL offers 9 engineering programs to students who have completed a highly selective two-year post-baccalauréat course majoring in Maths, physics and chemistry. Entrance to the Ecoles of INPL is subject to a nationwide competitive examination.
The scientific fields covered by the Graduate Engineering programs include the following: - Materials Science and Engineering (EEIGM, ENSMN)
- Chemical and Process Engineering (ENSIC)
- Computer Science and Applied Mathematics (ENSMN)
- Mechanics, Energy (ENSEM)
- Civil Engineering (ENSG, ENSMN)
- Agronomy, Biotechnologies, Food Science and Engineering (ENSAIA)
- Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation (ENSEM)
- Geosciences, Environmental Engineering (ENSG, ENSAIA)
- Industrial systems Engineering and Innovation (ENSGSI)
The curricula offered by INPL are accredited every four year by the "Commission des Titres de l'Ingénieur", a French public body. All engineering programs lead to Graduate Engineering diplomas (equivalent to Master's degrees). - All graduate engineering curricula offered at INPL include compulsory language courses (English + French as a Foreign Language) as well as a choice of optional languages (Spanish, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese)
- The close connections of the Schools of INPL with the corporate and industrial world ensure excellent job opportunities for the students
- A well balanced training including core sciences, humanities, projects, industrial internshiop, sports.
Master's studies
INPL offers 20 Master of Science programs leading to a Master’s degree aiming at research careers and 16 non-thesis vocational Masters of Science. Access to non-thesis Masters of Science programs is limited. Studies are organized in 2 years after a Bachelor’s degree. All Master’s programs include a six-month internship, either in industry or in a university laboratory. The Master’s degree is of particular interest to foreign students as admission is not subject to a competitive examination.
The scientific fields covered by both the Masters and Graduate Engineering programs include the following: - Materials Science and Engineering
- Chemical and Process Engineering
- Computer Science and Applied Mathematics
- Mechanics, Energy and Civil Engineering
- Agronomy, Biotechnologies, Food Science and Engineering
- Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation
- Geosciences, Environmental Engineering
- Industrial systems Engineering
- Architecture
The strong links between teaching and research at INPL guarantee up-to-the-minute knowledge to the students, who benefit from the privilege of having access to outstanding research facilities. more
